Helping Daddy

Ava LOVES her Daddy! She lights up every time he comes around. She just loved riding around on the lawn mower with him after he finished the lawn.

Gotta love Jamie's outfit....palm leaf hat, old clothes and flip flops riding around on a lawn mower with a baby! I am sure our neighbors are wondering why they let us rednecks move in. (This by far is not the most redneck thing we have done!)

Who Invented These???....

I know a mom did not invent teething biscuits, because no mother would make something SOOO messy in addition to the added strains of a teething baby! Seriously, a bath is needed after each one!

7 Month Pics

We were a little late in taking them, but we had Ava's 7! month pictures taken! I can't believe she is already 7 1/2 months!! Where has the time gone? I need to scan them in, but in the meantime, I did it the ghetto way and took pictures of the pictures with my camera. We have a VERY large old school scanner that we don't keep plugged in because it is so mammoth, so that is why I didn't just scan them :) I hope you can still enjoy them!

Summer Lovin'...

Ava is already loving summer! We own two baby swimming pools, and she LOVES swimming in them! She is going to be a little fish this summer.

She kept trying to crawl out, and Aunt Jazmin had to keep putting her back in. Thanks Jazzy for all of your help this past weekend!

Happy Baby Shower Dee Dee and Madelyn!!

My sister, Diana aka Dee Dee, had her baby shower this past weekend for her daughter Madelyn Rose. She is due July 2nd, but I have a feeling she will come at the end of June. It was a great turn out and a lot of fun! I couldn't take too many pics due to the fact that Ava was a handful...just too many new faces trying to hold her. There were 5! other babies there her age so she had fun playing!

Okay, just as the shower was starting, Michelle and Cooper arrived, and Cooper had a little surprise for her mom. Explosive poop everywhere!! She couldn't even make it past the front door because it was dripping all over the place, including all over her mom! Did I mention they were both wearing white??!! HAHA. So we had to give her a quick bath in the sink and fix her up with some of Ava's clothes. Just another day in the life of a mother! ;)

Standing Everywhere!!

Ava is SO mobile now- crawling FAST everywhere and getting into everything!! You can't keep your eyes off of her for a moment. She is also a master at pulling up to standing on EVERYTHING. In her bed during the middle of the night, the coffee table, her baby gates...anything she can get her chubby little hands on. She can even stand alone for a few seconds without holding anything before falling!!

She is now learning to hold on to something and walk the length of her support. Crazy! She is so determined, that she is quickly learning to do things at an early age. I know walking will be right around the corner.

She is so funny! When I put her in her baby jail and she sees me passing by, she stands up, pushes her face up against the gate, looks though the gate and then sticks her tongue through one of the holes. HAHAHA. It is so cute, it breaks her out just about every time. Just wish I could catch in on camera!

Sorry I haven't posted any blogs lately, but Ava has been teething quite badly this past week, trying to cut her second tooth. She is fussy no matter what I do, so my hands are full with a crying baby. I hope it comes through soon, so I can have a break. :)

We had dinner with Gavin and his parents (Damon and Tara) at his house last week before church. Of course we had to get in some picture time before we left!

They both loved checking themselves out in the mirror...like most babies do...but it is still too cute!! (Please try and overlook the fuzzy pictures...I am still working out the kinks on all the settings! Heather help!!)

You might remember from a previous blog, but Ava loves to climb on top of Gavin while he is crawling. Guess she is trying to get from point A to point B the easiest way...(she gets that from her dad.)
And just like that same blog...she also still likes to try and bite him!
Going in for the kill! At least it isn't his bottom this time!

We just adore Gavin. I am sure you will see tons more this summer!! WOO HOO for summer!!
